About the pack
Matcha Flavoured is a datapack and resource pack for Minecraft Java Edition, designed so that slower, non-technical players gather as much as players who build farms. Hunger and natural regeneration are gone: food heals and carries potion-like intrinsics. A death costs a heart rather than the player's items. Villagers stop buying goods, new alloys and hybrid tools reshape progression, and enchanting is crafted instead of random.
Getting started
The pack's own advancements double as a tutorial. A new world starts with kindling, a wooden hoe and cooked grass, then leads through the mud kiln, copper and iron, to the blast furnace and raw diamonds. See progression for the full path.
Did you know…
- … that dying costs a heart of maximum health rather than the player's items?
- … that there are 47 fish to catch, each rated from one to four stars in the Angler's Almanac?
- … that defeating the Ender Dragon banishes monsters from the surface?
- … that Sacks, the pack's shulker boxes, can be crafted long before The End?
